DUMPSTER ARCHEOLOGY

SELF-PROCLAIMED "DUMPSTER ARCHEOLOGIST" LEW BLINK EMBARKS ON THRILLING EXPEDITIONS THROUGH DIMLY LIT ALLEYS WHERE EVERY ITEM HOLDS A STORY WAITING TO BE BROUGHT TO LIFE. THROUGH HIS EYES, THE TRASH-STREWN LANDSCAPES TRANSFORM INTO AN ENDLESS PLAYGROUND OF MYSTERIES WAITING TO BE UNRAVELED, INVITING US TO PONDER THE VALUE OF PRIVACY AND THE IMPACT OF EXCESSIVE WASTE WHILE MARVELING AT THE WONDROUS STORIES WITHIN THE REFUSE LEFT IN THE ALLEYWAYS.

DIRECTOR’S STATEMENT

As I set out to capture Lew Blink’s story, I realized that a conventional approach would not suffice. I needed to create a narrative that would transport us into his odd, quirky, and silly world. Lew’s unique perspective on dumpster diving and ability to connect the dots made him a fascinating character. Through him, we explore themes of privacy, waste, and the stories we leave behind. “Dumpster Archaeology” is an exploration of the human experience and a celebration of curiosity. It encourages us to open the lid, take a peek within ourselves, and reflect on what we leave behind.
